Seven Hills vs. Hillwood

We had our second dual meet today vs. Hillwood Country Club.  They are our toughest competitor, according to the coaches, but when the 1st half was complete, we were looking pretty good.  We are hoping that the "big kids" (ages 11-18) can hold 'em off this afternoon to pull out the win.

Here are some of the highlights:

Cooper on the block for
25-yard Freestyle

Cooper trucks along for
25 yards of Freestyle

Cole wraps up 25 yards of Freestyle with a personal best
time of 18.06 (cutting 4.5 seconds off his fastest time)

Cooper and the Seven Hills 6&Under Boys B Relay
prepare for greatness!
Cooper swims an amazing 25 yards backstroke...

...which was more like 45 yards
if you count the zigzags
but he was
LEGAL
the whole way!

Cole on the block for
25 Breaststroke.
Time: 27.20
(3.5 seconds off his best time)

Cole also swam the 100 Individual Medley (IM) and both relays.  He took an amazing 18 seconds off his best time on the IM ending with a 1:52:05.  He was anchorman on the 7-8 Boys A Free Relay and swam the Breaststroke leg for the A Medley Relay.  In both relays, Seven Hills took 2nd behind a dynamo Hillwood crew.  But what a meet it was!  Tonight is the Swim Team Ice Cream Social so we are off to buy "our favorite topping" to take to the festivities.  It should be a sugar overload for certain!

I know that I posted Ivy's new applique outfit yesterday
but here she is modeling it.
